What are my log in details for the Forum’s website?

We don’t know them, they’re encrypted - but you can easily reset them for yourself.

 

How do I download the web App?

The Forum web App is NOT in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It is a mobile web page so all you need is an internet browser to access it.

 

What are my log in details for the web App?

We don’t know them, but you can easily reset them for yourself.

  • Click on the App link, you’ll be asked for your email address. Enter it.
  • If you have an existing account, you’ll be asked for a password. If you can’t remember it, click on the “Forgot Password?” link on the page. You’ll receive an email to reset them.
  • If this is your first time using the App, you will be prompted to enter your name and select a password.

 

How do I vote?

You need to use the Forum web App to vote. The vote opens when the session is 80% complete (because CE cannot be conferred unless you attend 80% of the session).

  • Log in to the App.
  • Click on the Program link on the left, scroll down to the session in progress and click on it.
  • You’ll Chat, Q&A and Poll tabs on the right hand side. Click on the Poll tab.

 

What do I do if I missed a vote for a session I attended?

  • Email us at mail@portfolioconstructionforum.edu.au and let us know which session you missed voting in. We’ll cross check the web logs and as long as you are logged in, we’ll manually update your attendance.

 

Why is the App telling me I already voted when I haven’t?

  • Make sure that you’re in the current session.

 

Can I go back and vote after a session has finished?

No, voting shuts at the end of each session.

  • Email us at mail@portfolioconstructionforum.edu.au and let us know which session you missed voting in. We’ll cross check the web logs and as long as you are logged in, we’ll manually update your attendance.

 

What do I do if the SIF session I want to attend is full?

If your first choice of SIF session has reached capacity, you still have a choice of three others. Don’t worry if you don’t get into your first choice, all of the sessions are recorded and available to view within a few hours after they end.

 

What if the video isn’t showing on the live stream page?

It could be that your browser is out of date. Or, you may need to nominate the Forum’s website as a Trusted Site. If you are using Windows:

  • Open your Control Panel. (Click on the windows icon on the bottom left and choose Settings
  • In the search bar at the top of the page, type “Internet Options”.
  • The Internet Properties window will appear - click on “Security”
  • Click on “Trusted Sites” - then on the “Sites” button.
  • Add the following: https://portfolioconstructionforum.edu.au/
  • Close the "Internet Properties Window.
  • Close and reopen Chrome.

 

What if I can see the video but have no audio?

  • Check that your speakers are not on mute.
  • Check that the volume on your device is not just turned down very low.
  • Check the volume is on in the video player - if so, under the video, on the right, you’ll see blue bars. If they’re not fully blue, click on them until all the bars are blue.

 

When will CE/CPD hours be available?

  • Your CE/CPD hours will available within 1 week via your Forum MyCE record. When it has been loaded, you’ll recieve an email from the Forum, and we’ll also send a SMS to the mobile phone number you provided when registering, to let you know it’s done.
