EM will outperform DM in 2020 and the next three to five years

Emerging markets will outperform developed markets in 2020 and over the coming three to five years. Indeed, we are one recession away from “Japanification” of developed markets. Emerging markets offers structural growth with significant policy optionality. As growth becomes more scarce in developed markets, the valuation gap between emerging market equities and developed market equities will close. Within emerging markets, Asia is the place to be investing.
