About this Lecture

This lecture instructs IMAC candidates on the characteristics of private real asset investments including:

• real assets valuation methods, risk and return, and tenant-related risks;
• accessing real assets;
• calculation of property valuation using NOI and cap rate, and the relationship between cap rates and risk-free rates; and,
• different real estate investment strategies from low-risk core investments to high-risk opportunistic investments.
