This lecture instructs IMAC candidates on the fundamentals of specifying a Neutral Asset Allocation (NAA) when building investment portfolios including:

  • why the NAA is important;
  • what to consider when choosing asset classes in the NAA;
  • the process for developing the NAA; and,
  • the importance of the NAA to the return of a portfolio.
