We must prepare for a more fractured world

The past half-century brought about a world that’s globalised, centralised, and stratified. Now, it’s swinging the other way. As we shift to a bipolar or tripolar world, in which the US and China decouple more rapidly, and Europe lives somewhere in the middle, practitioners should seek to understand the implications for different asset classes, sectors and geographies.
