Due Diligence Forum summary

Concentrated portfolios have become popular because many investors assume they provide better returns given that these portfolios are by definition more "active". However, does the evidence support this assumption? Is reducing the number of stocks the only way to be "active"?

This session explores these issues and discusses how investors can potentially achieve more consistent and higher long-term returns by investing in more not less stocks. Not only is it possible to be strongly "active" by investing in a large portfolio of broadly diversified stocks, but investors can benefit from reduced risk without the need to sacrifice returns.
