Due Diligence Forum summary

Despite the problems triggered by the US sub-prime debacle and the ensuing credit crunch, the need for global fixed income in a client's portfolio remains important. However, many investors are avoiding fixed income in preference for cash. While fixed income is not without risk, cash too has its own risk.

The presentation and underlying research paper answer the questions facing advisers now: What are the risks of cash and fixed income investing? Where are the opportunities in the new world of fixed income investing? How do I explain these to my clients?
