Rising interest rates and a resurgence in oil prices proved difficult headwinds for Australian superannuation funds in the March 2005 quarter, according to research released by Intech today.

The Intech Super Survey measures the performance of 188 superannuation funds across five risk categories on a net of tax and investment-related fees and expenses basis. The objective of the survey is to provide trustees and members of superannuation funds with a comprehensive indicator of the relative investment performance of superannuation funds in Australia.
