Welcome to the Roaring 20s and all its dangers

After the First World War, when the western world came out of the chaos of trying to reshape Europe and the unimaginable horror that particular adventure produced, the world - well mainly America - went slightly bonkers and we got the Roaring 20s.

The Roaring 20s gave the world cars, electricity, jazz, the bob haircut for women, a decent number of really good cocktails, margin lending and cheap credit. That’s a hell of a decade.

Now, a century later, it looks like we are going to do the same again. High on the hog of disappointment, deprivation and cheap credit, it looks like we are goin...
