Words become actions, threats going nowhere

Global supply chains continued to face tough conditions in Q1 2021 with logistics congestion culminating in the Suez Canal blockage, continued demand growth and cost inflation in freight and industrial commodities. Those will take much of Q2 2021 to unwind while corporations will start to tackle the need to increase prices and adapt their supply chains. There’s also an unwelcome return of medical protectionism to be dealt with.
