Despite the emergence of the Omicron variant, vaccines and antiviral drugs ensure we’re seeing the beginning of the end of the Covid-19 pandemic. Fiscal stimulus will help boost US growth to its strongest levels in decades in 2022 and European economies are poised to rebound. However, inflationary pressures will persist. Practitioners must identify assets that will provide downside protection, as well as strategies to capitalise on the growth ahead.
